Can you keep a secret?

The one thing Cecelia Horner knows about her move to Triple Falls is, it’ll be temporary. After one year working for her elusive father at his factory, he’ll hand over the inheritance she needs to help her single mother. With that, Cecelia will leave the town, and everyone in it, behind forever.

On her first day, she collides with her new supervisor, Sean. Enigmatic, charming, irresistible, Sean lures Cecelia into a new world of sex, lies, and alliances. Determined to make the most of her time in Triple Falls, Cecelia allows herself to blindly fall. But the more Cecelia is drawn in, the stronger her belief that Sean is keeping a secret. A secret that Dominic, Sean’s best friend, and the darkest, most dangerous of his crew, is determined to keep Cecelia from uncovering.

Cecelia discovers something else—a maelstrom of untapped desires within herself along with a powerful pull of first love. The more Cecelia becomes immersed in Sean and Dominic’s perilous world, the more she starts to realize that the men she’s trusted are hiding far more than she could have ever imagined. And the secret they’re hiding just might be the thing to break her fall.

I'm not 100% sure I've ever read a book that made me sob as much as this one did. Well let me back up the second in the series Exodus made me weep like a little baby. I was an absolute wreck.

The first book flock follows Cecilia who moves to Triple Falls for a year to work for her estranged wealthy father in other to inherit some money in other to help take care of her mother. Basically sure wants to stick it to him since he's been absent her whole life she feels like they are owned something from him.

On her very first day on the job she meets Sean and they connect right away. He starts to pursue her and she quickly meets his friends and roommates. Right away her and his best friend Dominic clash.

As time goes on Sean and Cecilia develop a romance but it gets complicated because she also develops an attraction to Dominic. What's odd to Cecilia is that Sean does not have a problem with this. In fact he encourages it.

Going against everything she's ever known she falls in love with both men and gets completely sucked into their world but their world is nothing like anything she's ever known and it's dangerous.

They are hiding a bigger secret. All of the people they associate with have raven tattoos and meet up in secret.

I can't discuss much else without giving away anymore of the plot. Even if I give the plot of the second book it will tell you what's going on in the first.

I went in blind and was thoroughly confused in the first book. The second book clarified a whole lot for me but broke my heart. Seriously have tissues at the ready. The third book had me worried about how it was all going to end. I didn't know if there would be a happily ever after or not.

There are a lot of politics in all three of these books. I could have done without that cause I'm not really a political person. With that being said I still loved all three of them.

If you don't like spicy scenarios or scenes this might not be for you cause that's definitely in there. More spiciness in the first and second books in my opinion.

This series will stick with me for a long time and I highly recommend. 5/5 stars 🤩
